Food court extension to an existing secondary school in the city of Bat Yam.

AALK was given the opportunity to enhance the main entry to the school building by creating a game of wooden podiums surrounding the food stall. 

The idea was to create a sitting environment while allowing the flow of children getting in and out the building.

The wooden podiums are logically placed so that they can be used as a place to rest, eat and even study.

Since the wooden podiums have been installed, children have been continuously using them, creating a new social hub within the school.
