The Academy of the
Hebrew Language
with Maor Burmad / Stability Studio
AALK was invite to join Stability Studio together with Maor Burmad to explore the possibilities for the next building of the Academy of the Hebrew Language.
The competition site is located on a slope on Jerusalem Museum Mile and his adjacent to several projects designed by "starchiects".
The idea was to create a building that doesn't disturb the view from the top of the slope and ahead. The two wings of the building overlap and allow the visitor to wander through by walking under one building and on the top of the other.
The gentle blanket wrapping the building helps it to blend into the landscape.
