Kabri I

with Karmi Architects

Kabri was designed on the basis of the existing Kibbutz units. Although the units were demolished, their essence is very present in the plan of the house. The common spaces (living-dining area) are in the heart of the house and surrounded by the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A suspended “garden” and pergola surround the house extending the internal space outside and acting as a shading system for the whole house.

The house was built with local materials allowing the budget to stay low and affordable.
